Salvador Llarena Arriola

•  Salvador Llarena Arriola is the managing partner of DFK / Llarena & Asociados, S.C.; he is a former partner of KPMG, one of the Big Four International Accounting and Audit Firms, where he was the managing partner in the Monterrey office from 1980 to 1995.

•  Has served in DFK Mexico’s Executive Committee and has been in charge of the national’s committee on professional practice.
•  Graduated from Monterrey Tech where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting in 1967. On January 1969, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He has also taken graduate courses at Stanford University, at J.L. Kellog Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University, and at Wharton School of Management of The University of Pennsylvania.
•  Member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo Leon and of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Mexican Institute of Financial Executives. He is a former President of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo Leon, where he has also been Treasurer and Vicepresident of Professional Standards and member of the Honor and Justice Commission. In the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants he served as President of the Professional Ethics Commission. Presently he is member of the Financial Standards Commission in the Mexican Institute of Financial Executives. He is also a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Monterrey, where he serves on the Board.
•  Mr. Llarena’s experience of 46 years includes external audits of multinational companies and providing external controllership and tax advisory services His professional development has been complemented with teaching assignments at Monterrey Tech and the University of Monterrey.

Salvador Llarena Menard

•  Partner in charge of the Audit Department; he is a former manager of KPMG in its Houston, Texas Office, where he obtained CPA Certification on May 2000.
•  He is currently a member in DFK Mexico´s Executive Committee and is in charge of the national´s committee on professional practice.
•  Graduated from Monterrey Tech where he received his Bachelor´s Degree in Public Accounting in 1993. On May 1996, he obtained his Master´s Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
•  Member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo Leon and of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants. He is a former President of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo Leon. In the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants he serves as President of the Public Accountants´ By-Laws Commission.
•  His professional development has been complemented with teaching assignments at Monterrey Teach. and as instructor of training courses within DFK Mexico.

Luis Rafael Maldonado Amador

•  Audit partner in the Firm. He is a former senior audit manager in KPMG, one of the Big Four international accounting firms. His professional development started in Deloitte, another of the Big Four.
•  Graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon, where he received his Bachelor´s Degree in Public Accounting.
•  Member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo Leon and of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants. In the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo Leon, he serves in the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee, and on the Quality Control Committee
•  His professional development has been complemented with teaching assignments at the Universidad Regiomontana and Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon.
